OUR SERVICES
Today, we're there whenever we're needed

We're there for single family fires (98% of our disaster responses) as well as tornadoes and floods. We teach disaster planning to the community. We teach local residents in fire prevention skills and lifesaving tips for disaster preparedness. We're there for communications and assistance to members of the Armed Forces.
We're committed to keeping people safe at work and at home. We're there teaching thousands of people new and improved health and safety skills (including CPR, first aid, aquatics and water safety, mission-related care-giving and HIV/AIDS education)
We're there to provide blood, plasma derivatives and tissue for transplants. In order to continue and expand our services we need the support of friends, like you, in three very important ways.
First, we are constantly looking for individuals who will volunteer their time to help better their communities as instructors or disaster responders - "Helping the Red Cross, Helps America".
Second, we need those who will donate blood - "The Gift of Life". The Red Cross supplies over fifty percent of blood and blood products to health care facilities.
Third, the Northeast Georgia Chapter needs your financial support. The continued work of our Chapter is dependent on private and corporate donations. The American Red Cross is not a government agency but a not-for-profit humanitarian organization led by volunteers.
