Babysitter's Training Camp

The NE Georgia Chapter of the American Red Cross held a Babysitter's Training Camp.

Participants learned how to perform CPR and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in adult, children and infants.  They also learned how to set up a professional and safe babysitting business.  Participants had fun cooking and doing arts and crafts.

The pictures show the participants and baby Brayden with instructor Lisa Burkey-Jeeves.  Brayden is not really choking, but they are using him for demonstration of where to place your hands to remove a blocked airway in an infant.

For more information on upcoming classes, how to have a class at your facility, become a volunteer or to donate to Disaster Relief at the American Red Cross call 800-282-1722.
